Are you looking for private singing lessons? Would you like to prepare for an entrance exam or audition? Or do you just want to learn to sing for fun or relaxation? Then you’ve come to the right place!
I teach according to the functional vocal pedagogy of the New York singing teacher Cornelius L. Reid.
„Musical singing, especially belting, is uncompromising, extremely honest, as we say ‘in your face’. Many people doubt whether it is even possible to produce this intense style of singing with a healthy technique. I suspect that many simply don’t like the sound. We must not judge popular
should not be judged by our classical standards. We can admit that the human voice is capable of producing different timbres with healthy means. The larynx is not nailed down in the throat. The tongue, embouchure tube, aryepiglottic sphincter, palate, etc., all parts of the voice are extremely flexible. And all types of singing harbour dangers.“
– Noelle Turner
A lesson looks like this: You start with a vocal warm-up. Then we work on the repertoire you have brought with you. As everyone has a different taste in music, it’s up to you which material you want to bring to the lesson. In my opinion, no method is ‘perfect’, rather different methods work for each singer and you will encounter methods and combinations from the various vocal teachings in our lessons. For special audition training and workshops, I will be happy to work with you to find a suitable concept that is specially tailored to you
